The use of the website www.dnatech.pt implies the acceptance of this privacy policy, which is governed by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The DNAtech team may make changes to this policy, with reference to the date of the last change. However, we recommend that you consult our privacy policy regularly so that you are always up to date.
When do we collect information from users?
Whenever you use the DNAtech website or provide us with your personal data, you accept the practices set out in this Privacy Policy. DNAtech collects information from users when they browse the site or when they share personal information (name, email address, date of birth or information about their personal curriculum vitae) when filling in the contact form or the spontaneous application form.
Which information can be collected?
DNAtech collects anonymous and personal information from users. The personal information we collect may include name, e-mail address, date of birth, curriculum vitae, which will be provided voluntarily by users when filling in our forms. All personal information of visitors, subscribers and clients who use our sites will be treated only for the purpose for which it is intended, and will be managed with a guarantee of confidentiality.
DNAtech may also collect non-personal information about the equipment used by the user to access www.dnatech.pt, such as IP address, geolocation, unique equipment identifier, browser type, browser language or other information of this nature. This information is used in aggregate form to analyze access to www.dnatech.pt. No data on the use of the site by an individual IP address is ever disclosed.
How do we collect information?
DNAtech collects personal data through two forms published on the site - the contact form and the spontaneous application form - and non-personal data through the Google Analytics platform.
For what purpose is the information we collect used?
All personal information collected about users will be used exclusively for the purpose for which each of the forms is intended, i.e. for the purposes of contact by a sales representative or for recruitment purposes. The collection of non-personal data, on the other hand, is intended solely to evaluate the site’s performance and help improve the content provided by the site.
For all other specific situations that may arise related to data collection, such as the processing of information for marketing purposes, DNAtech will request the relevant consent stating the purposes for which it is intended, as well as all the user’s rights of access to the information.
Under the terms of the General Data Protection Regulation, the use of personal information must be justified by at least one legal ground for processing personal information:
- - When you have given your consent to the processing of data (you can withdraw your consent at any time);
- - When the processing of personal information is necessary to enter into a contract or perform a contract;
- - When processing is necessary to comply with legal obligations to which DNAtech is bound.
How long do we keep the information?
Information is kept for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Once the maximum legal retention period has been reached, the information will be securely destroyed.
How do we keep information safe?
DNAtech ensures a variety of security measures to help protect and maintain the security, integrity, and availability of users’ personal information. Although the transmission of data through the site cannot guarantee total security against intruders (hackers), we undertake to make every effort to ensure the security of personal information in accordance with applicable data protection requirements. Among other things, the following security measures are applied:

- - Continuous monitoring of who accesses the technology and information system to prevent, detect and stop the misuse and abuse of personal information.
How can you change or withdraw your consent?
Users can change or withdraw their consent at any time, with effect for the future. Please note, however, that once you have completely withdrawn your consent, you will no longer be contacted or receive any communications for the purposes described above.

The user has the right to request that we:

- - update their personal information that we hold in our database;
- - delete personal information whose use is no longer legitimate due to a change in consent;
- - at their request, pass on the personal information provided to another data controller.
Once they have exercised any of these rights, we will assess them and respond as promptly as possible.
If you are dissatisfied with our use and processing of your personal information or with our response after exercising any of these rights, you have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority.
